About Us

A photography-first training team, built on Koh Tao

Koh Tao ProPhoto grew out of years spent shooting daily dives and training instructors and divers to do the same. We focus on one thing — underwater stills — and try to do it properly.

We treat every student as an individual rather than running everyone through the same fixed script. Whatever your starting point — a first-timer with a compact camera or an experienced diver ready to go fully manual with strobes — the course is shaped around your pace and your goals.

Our editing studio in Sairee is dedicated to photo training and post-production: air-conditioned, fast internet, and workstations set up specifically for culling and editing files after the dive.

Why We're Different

What we do right

Creativity over formula

We won't force you into one style or one editing preset. Use our experience as a reference, but we want you to find your own eye. If your photos work for you, that's what matters.

Support after the course

Finishing the course doesn't end the relationship. Equipment questions, settings for a new site, a second opinion on an edit — we're a message away.

Honest equipment advice

We'd rather you buy the right camera and housing once than the wrong one twice. Students and staff get access to genuine equipment discounts through our supplier network.

Safety first

No course is rushed to hit a schedule. You'll have the diving skills and buoyancy control to shoot safely before we hand you a camera in open water.
